Mostly from deBridge’s Season 3 launch post (15 October 2025) and its points docs; token details from the deBridge Foundation’s DBR tokenomics. The row that matters most is cost: on Season 2’s numbers, the airdrop paid back less than the fees people spent.
What is deBridge?
deBridge is a cross-chain liquidity network. You create an order on one chain, a solver fills it on the other chain, and you get the native asset on the destination, usually in seconds. It covers Solana plus the big EVM chains, and newer ones like TRON, HyperEVM, Robinhood Chain and Arc.
Per the deBridge Foundation’s September 2026 update, it processed $804M+ of cross-chain volume and 459,000+ trades across 19 chains that month, with $683K+ in protocol revenue. The Foundation also says its Reserve Fund holds 686M DBR (about 6.86% of supply), bought on the open market from protocol earnings. It’s a big project and it’s already paid out twice, so I’d take a Season 3 drop more seriously than most points programmes.
If you’re new to moving funds between chains, our Solana bridging walkthrough covers the basics. For everything else that’s running right now, see our Airdrops hub.
How deBridge points work in Season 3
You earn 100 points for each dollar paid in fees on cross-chain trades, per deBridge’s Season 3 announcement of 15 October 2025. Pay $2 in fees, get 200 points.
The rules worth knowing:
- Same-chain swaps earn nothing. Swapping SOL to USDC on Solana through deBridge gives zero points. It has to cross chains.
- There’s a 1.1x loyalty multiplier for anyone with at least 2 transactions in Season 1 or Season 2.
- Referrals pay 25%. Per deBridge’s docs, it only counts new users who arrive through your link for the first time, and self-referrals are blocked.
- deBridge reserves the right to remove participants who abuse the points system through self-referring, Sybil activity “or any other methods”.
- The conversion rate is unknown until the end. Per deBridge’s points docs, points convert to DBR at the end of each season, with the rate announced then.
What the fees actually are
Per deBridge’s fee docs, every cross-chain order pays two fees: a flat fee in the source chain’s gas token, plus a 4 bps (0.04%) variable fee on the amount. The docs also say protocol fees can be changed, so always read the quote in the app.
| Source chain | Flat fee (deBridge docs) |
|---|---|
| Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Linea | 0.001 ETH |
| Solana | 0.015 SOL |
| BNB Chain | 0.005 BNB |
| Polygon | 0.5 POL (listed as MATIC in deBridge’s docs) |
| Avalanche | 0.05 AVAX |
| TRON | 4 TRX |
| Arc | 1 USDC |
The variable part is easy to work out. Bridging $1,000 costs $0.40 in the 4 bps fee, which is 40 points. On small transfers the flat fee is most of what you pay, so one bigger transfer costs less per dollar moved than several small ones.
deBridge Season 1 and Season 2 airdrops: what DBR paid out
| Season 1 | Season 2 | |
|---|---|---|
| Ran | 9 April 2024 to 23 July 2024 (15 weeks) | 23 July 2024 to 10 October 2025 (63 weeks) |
| Points created | About 1.5 billion | 1.5 billion+ |
| Volume | $2 billion+ | $12.5 billion+ |
| Airdrop | 600M DBR (6% of supply), DBR launch 17 October 2024, 490,000+ users | 300M DBR (3% of supply), 770,000+ eligible users |
| DBR per point | About 0.4 | About 0.2 or less |
| Claim terms | Top 10% of wallets by balance: 50% at launch and 50% after 6 months (penalties paid out as a bonus to those who vested), or everything now with a 20% penalty. All other wallets: 100% at launch | Claim window 19 November to 19 December 2025, no vesting mentioned |
Sources: deBridge’s Season 1 snapshot post (24 July 2024), the deBridge Foundation’s DBR tokenomics docs and thread (Season 1 airdrop: 6% of 10 billion DBR, top 10% vesting), the DBR launch post (17 October 2024), the Season 2 snapshot post and the Season 2 claim post (19 November 2025). The DBR per point row is my own division of tokens by points.
A few things stand out. Both airdrops actually happened, which beats most points programmes. But the reward per point halved from Season 1 to Season 2: both seasons created about 1.5 billion points, while the allocation dropped from 600M to 300M DBR. And the Season 2 claim window was only a month, so if you farm Season 3, watch deBridge’s X for the claim.
Is deBridge airdrop farming worth it?
On Season 2’s numbers, pure fee farming lost money at claim time.
The maths: 300M DBR across 1.5 billion+ points is at most about 0.2 DBR per point. So $1 of fees (100 points) came back as roughly 20 DBR or less. Your fees only got covered if DBR was worth at least about $0.05 at claim, before gas and slippage. CoinGecko data for 19 November 2025, the day Season 2 claims opened, puts DBR at about $0.024. That’s roughly 47 cents back for every $1 of fees, at best.
I’m not going to guess DBR’s price or the Season 3 rate. Neither is known. So I’d only farm bridging you’d do anyway, and treat the points as a rebate on those fees. Looping money back and forth just to burn fees is a bet on a conversion rate nobody has announced, and repetitive loops are exactly what Sybil filters look for.
Risks and things to watch
- Every point costs real fees, plus gas and slippage, and Season 2 shows the payout can come in below what you spent.
- No end date. Season 3 hits one year on 10 October 2026 with no snapshot announced. You could farm for months before you know the rate.
- Sybil removal. Farming across lots of wallets can get you removed.
- Fake claim sites. Every deBridge season brings phishing “claim” pages. Only use links from deBridge’s official X or a URL you typed yourself.
- Fees change. The docs warn protocol fees can be changed, so today’s fee table may not hold.
Old strategies removed
Older versions of this guide listed the cheapest fee loops for points. Step 4 above explains why I’ve dropped them.
They also had an advanced technique: bridge native tokens like DOGE from BNB Chain to Solana and LP them on Clone Protocol with a health score above 20%. That no longer works. Per Clone’s own wind-down announcement in August 2024, markets were frozen, LPs had until 27 August 2024 to withdraw, and the protocol was fully deprecated by 30 September 2024.
Verdict
deBridge is one of the few airdrops that has paid out twice, and Season 3 keeps the same rule: the more fees you pay, the more points you get.
If you’re only bridging to farm it, Season 2 says you’d probably lose money, and nobody knows the Season 3 rate yet. I’d just use it for bridging I’m doing anyway and not chase points. If you’d rather not pay for every point, here’s how to find free airdrops instead.
FAQ
When does deBridge Season 3 end?
No end date has been announced as of 7 October 2026. Season 3 points are live and, per deBridge’s docs, points convert to DBR at the end of each season, so a Season 3 airdrop is likely but not confirmed. The docs say season updates go out on deBridge’s X and Discord. For reference, Season 1 ran 15 weeks and Season 2 ran 63 weeks.
How many deBridge points do I get per bridge?
100 points per $1 paid in fees, per deBridge’s Season 3 post, times 1.1 if you made 2+ transactions in an earlier season. On a $1,000 transfer the 4 bps fee alone is $0.40, so 40 points, plus whatever the flat fee adds. Same-chain swaps earn nothing.
Is deBridge safe to use?
deBridge has a clean security record so far, but no bridge is risk-free, and fake deBridge sites are the bigger day-to-day risk.
Per the security overview in deBridge’s docs (checked 7 October 2026), it has settled over $20 billion in transfer volume with zero security incidents, its contracts have been audited by Halborn, Neodyme and Zokyo, and it runs a bug bounty on Immunefi. The docs also say funds only pass through its contracts per order, with solvers bringing their own liquidity, so there’s no big shared pool sitting there for attackers to drain.
Phishing is the part you control. Type app.debridge.com yourself rather than clicking links in DMs, replies or ads, and never sign anything on a “claim” page you didn’t reach that way. Our guide to spotting airdrop scams covers the common tricks.
What is the deBridge referral code?
Our deBridge referral code is 6923 (link: app.debridge.com/r/6923). Per deBridge’s docs, the referrer earns 25% of the points their referred users generate, and it only counts for people who have never used deBridge before. You still earn the normal 100 points per $1 of fees; the docs don’t list an extra bonus for the referred user.
Is there a deBridge airdrop checker?
Yes, for points. Per deBridge’s points docs, you connect the wallet you bridged with on its points statistics page to see your balance. There’s no DBR allocation checker for Season 3 until the snapshot and conversion rate are announced.
How do I claim the deBridge (DBR) airdrop?
You can’t claim right now: Season 2 claims closed on 19 December 2025, and Season 3 has no announced end date. When Season 3 does end, only claim through the link deBridge posts on its official X and site. Based on Season 2, expect a window of about a month (it ran 19 November to 19 December 2025, and late claims weren’t accepted). DBR is a Solana SPL token, so keep a little SOL in the wallet you claim to.
Can I still claim the deBridge Season 2 airdrop?
No. Per the deBridge Foundation’s claim post, the Season 2 window ran 19 November to 19 December 2025, 12:00 UTC, and the post says claims after that deadline weren’t accepted.
How much are deBridge points worth?
At Season 2 claim prices, a point was worth roughly half a cent: about 0.2 DBR per point, with DBR at about $0.024 on 19 November 2025 (CoinGecko). Season 1 worked out at about 0.4 DBR per point. Season 3’s value is unknown until deBridge announces the conversion rate.
