MarginFi is a multifaceted liquidity staking platform on the Solana blockchain, boasting a total value locked (TVL) of 605 million USD as of March 11, 2024. It offers users the ability to lend, stake, swap, and bridge assets within its ecosystem. Though an official announcement is pending, there’s substantial evidence pointing towards an upcoming airdrop. $MRGN tokens, associated with MarginFi, are already being traded on whales market. This guide delves into how you can maximize your engagement with MarginFi to potentially earn $MRGN through a speculated airdrop, leveraging lending, borrowing, and other features.
The first stage is to visit the website and connect your Solana wallet. The Backpack wallet offers a 5% Bonus on all earnings currently so could be a good choice.
For every dollar lent on MarginFi, you earn one point per day. This method serves as a reliable way to accumulate points steadily over time. This is the recommended way which keeps risk down and requires the least management from you.
Borrowing amplifies your points earning, granting you four points per dollar borrowed each day. For a balanced approach, consider lending $1000 and borrowing $500. This method not only increases your points but keeps your risk indicator within a safe range, even with a 10-15% price fluctuation in the borrowed asset.
Earn LST, MarginFi’s liquid staking token, by staking your SOL. This not only contributes to your points accumulation but also integrates you further into the MarginFi ecosystem
Leverage the swap feature powered by Jupiter Finance to exchange cryptocurrencies across the Solana blockchain. This can be a strategic move to manage your assets and potential rewards effectively.
The airdrop, while not officially confirmed, has speculation on a variety of potential rewards:
